This is in my neck of the woods. I've always wanted a DS, but I cannot even with these. I can't decide whether I think it's awesome all of the were kept from the crusher, or turrible that they just sat and rotted for so long (they have obviously been accumulating for quite a while).

Wow. I desperately want a DS – once I start my new job this summer, I'll be on the lookout for one – but as you say, that's all just a bit overwhelming. As vigorously as I defend them from charges of unreliability and excessive complexity, I can't imagine that they're the easiest or cheapest cars in the world to restore. Plenty of those look saveable, and there's a remarkable number of the arguably more desirable early 'open lamp' models in that collection.
The sad thing is, given sufficient money and space, I could see myself acquiring a collection like that.
